This version is for violin and piano accompaniment, set by the composer. It covers 1st and 3rd positions only. Text provided in English, French and German.
Biografía del autor
Ferdinand Küchler war Geiger und Bratschist. Er studierte von 1883 bis 1888 am 'Hoch'schen Konservatorium' in Frankfurt am Main Violine bei J. Naret-Koning und H. Heermann sowie Musiktheorie bei A. Egidi und I. Knorr. Danach war er Violinlehrer am Konservatorium in Basel und Solo-Bratschist der Symphoniekonzerte in Basel. Von 1898 bis 1910 unterrichtete er am am 'Hoch'schen Konservatorium' in Frankfurt am Main, um danach wieder nach Basel zurückzukehren., wo er wieder seine Solistentätigkeit aufnahm. 1912 übernahm er die Leitung des Basler Volkschores. Von 1927 bis 1936 war er am Landeskonservatorium in Leipzig tätig.
Küchler hatte maßgeblichen Anteil an der Entwicklung einer neuen Violinmethodik, die auf neuen Erkenntnissen über die Physiologie der Bogenführung beruhte.
