With chapters entitled: Jockeys of Today and Yesterday, National Hunt Jockeys, Famous Trainers, and more. Written by Major John Fairfax-Blakeborough, an English writer and folklorist. During the First World War he served as a Major in 15th/19th The King's Royal Hussars, being awarded the Military Cross, and after the war he became a racing judge at Sedgefield and a licensed Turf official. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor wear to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Light fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound.
