Also signed by Andrew Calvocoressi on the titlepage. Mary Soames was the youngest of the five children of Winston Churchill and his wife Clementine. Andrew Calvocoressi is the youngest son of Ion Calvocoressi (1919-2007), British army officer and stockbroker, who moved with his family to Westerham, Kent, in 1950. Over the following years his family became friendly with the Churchill family who lived nearby at Chartwell. First Edition, first printing, in the excellent and unclipped dust-jacket.
